Online training for professionals | 3 hours | Intermediate training
This training explores practical and creative ways of supporting children and young people with their grief. You will gain insight into the unique ways young people experience loss and develop confidence working creatively to help them process their emotions. You will learn to use accessible tools such as art, play, movement, and storytelling to support emotional expression and understanding. The session provides a supportive space to build confidence, share experiences, and discover inclusive, age-appropriate strategies for compassionate care.

Who is this training for?
This session is appropriate for any professionals working with bereaved children and young people, including those with SEND.
What will I learn?
This training covers:

Identify the importance of helping bereaved children find ways to creatively express themselves and their feelings.

Explore activities and resources that can be used to support children and families.

Explore the benefits of using everyday materials to support a multi sensory approach real life applications.
